As I'm having a few issues with my side bars, I thought I'd put my sill trim back on whilst the issue gets resolved.
Small issue is that the little yellow trim clips often get broken in the process of fitting the bars.... Was driving past my local main stealer (Hatfields in Hull), I thought I'd pop in to see if they had some in that I could have....
After explaining to one of the guys at the service department, it seemed good news, they had some in.
After waiting for 10 minutes for his colleague to appear, he finally came out the back - quote in hand and proceeded to tell me that the small yellow clips, that you can get off ebay for a few quid was going to cost me £60.
60 pound!
Do they have a random number generator they use to get there prices?

£60 for clips is ridiculous.
However when that dealership was under the previous ownership they managed to sell me a D3 and take a deposit a car that had already sold to someone else.
In addition my one service there led to a screwdriver being left in the engine bay and the engine cover being left in the workshop. Good job I went to check the water level a few days after the service and spot the lack of cover. When I went back the ( or maybe someone else's !) cover reappeared and was fitted by a very sheepish mechanic
I would recommend Stratstone in Doncaster who are usually 30% cheaper on all their quotes for work.

Hatfields are a joke. Sales team live on another planet. That's why I went to Lincoln for my D4. I really don't know how they keep in business. Too many wags like burning cash there probably.
