Silicone 5-ply Intercooler to Inlet manifold pipe upgrade.
Im having made some 5ply silicone hoses for the 2.7L TDV6, they will replace the known failure point of the intercooler hose on the D3 and RRS that goes from the intercooler to the inlet manifold.
It will stop the splitting and delaminating as the standard ones do.
They will be made from black hi-grade silicone with 5 plys to give maximium strength.
Im unsure of final cost as yet but i think they will be arround 70 pounds .

I will be making a full kit eventualy, but the problem is that some customers wont want to change the other hoses because its rare they fail in comparison and they are far more fiddley to fit.
Once the main hose problem is out of the way and there is eniough showed interest ill invest in the expencive tooling for the other pipes also but ill sell the hoses as seperates to if you already have 1 you can just order the rest without loosing on the first.

There was a guy pimping some of these at the Peterborough show. He didn't have any prices, but had a feeling they were going to be more expensive than yours Pete Bodsys Brake Bible

they are a really good maker & supplier of industrial products that I have used...there are others making polyester reinforced silicone...in standard diameters....but special shapes & connections cost more as these are bespoke.
Polyester reinforced silicone is standard racing & up market car material....I used some on a Volvo 760 B27 engine water pump in the 80's (that water pump was a beast to change)BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics

D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

Piece of cake, 10 minutes max
Lift bonnet, you'll see top hose clip o/s/f top of engine. Under o/s inside front of lower wheel arch is a small panel held in with push clips. Prise out clips and remove panel to expose lower hose clip. Loosen clip and pull pipe off. Undo top hose clip and pull off hose then exit hose through engine bay, lifting upwards whilst turning.
