| Silencer replacement and part numbers |
|
Need to replace the center silencer (rattling) in a 2012 Discovery 4 and I am having a hard time finding the part number for that. Replacing it with a straight pipe is not really an option as I certainly do not want more sound. I was thinking of checking Topix for the part number, but got second thoughts if that is even available there? It seems there is not open page for us to search for part numbers, or am I wrong? Thanks for any comments.

FWIW, you’re right that it wouldn’t be found on TOPIx. The parts catalog is at https://epc.jlr-apps.com/ and costs to use.. something like 30 (GBP I think) monthly or 300 annually… it’s been a while since I looked at it. 
In most cases, new.lrcat.com is good enough to let you figure out what you really need.
