Side Step Aluminium Trim
Hi
anyone know the best place to buy passenger Side Step Aluminium Trim?
Or am I better off just buying a new side step?
thanks for your time

If it’s just detached, from memory, some self tappers from underneath the side steps solved the problem. Not saying it’s foolproof, but worked for me.

I bought a set of the trims on eBay, but not much fun fitting them as to do a decent job the step has to come of and several bolt were seized, then the rivets need drilling out to release the trims and new ones riveted back on. They also tend to be bent to nearly fit but require further persuading with clamps to fit exactly. In my case it was also a good opportunity to get rid of the rust under the steps and give a good coating of hammarite as the plastic top covers also have to come off. IID Tool

When mine dropped off I replaced the steps as a pair. I think they were about £150 on ebay. Simply take old ones off (needed a grinder as bolt heads were very rusty) and bolted new ones on using the old brackets.
