| Side Lights & OR fairly lights |

My New D4 has Xenon headlights with the fairly lights.
If I switch the sidelights on, I just get the fairy lights
If I switch the headlamps on, I just get the fairy lights.
Should the sidelights still be functional?? Wot's that in Old Money

No, the LEDs are the sidelights. 2011 D4 Landmark, Mini Cooper SD Clubman, Range Rover Vogue SE

DUH  should have looked at the changing the bulb section. The cornering lamp is in place of the Halogen's side light.
Go figure my last D3 HSE had cornering & side light.

Can i ask you a question? Do the LED fairy lights shine all of the time or just when the head lights are on (when Autolights are chosen) or when the switch is set to the first position? I had the inpression that they were going to be on all of the time like the Audi Disco 4 Sept 09

You need to get your dealer to enable them to stay on all the time. Wot's that in Old Money

I was wrong, in the UK they will not stay on all day unless you maunally swtch to sidelights
In the UK dealers can only get daylight running mode enabled which is the headlights a& fairy lights on.  Wot's that in Old Money

My D4 XS arrived at dealer today and I was across to take a look over it. I specified bi xenons and the LED lights are on at light switch first position and stay on when switch is at second position (dipped headlights) and at third position (automatic). They are also on when high beam is activated. The standard sidelight bulb position seems to have a small polished dome, replicating a bulb, but it did not illuminate at any switch position. 4 x 4 x Really Far!
