Did you fit it yourself??
I am thinking of ordering the electric winch for my car and wondered what is involved fitting wise. The dealer is quoting silly prices so I want to have a go myself. I think some members have done their own so I would appreciate a little info, i.e. tools required, any cutting of bumper/trim etc. time taken, 1 or 2 man job etc etc.
Thanks in advance.2020 BMW X1 18d XDrive X-Line Auto

I let the dealer do it.
It was the first for them to fit on a DIII, and took them a day and a half.
they'll charge me 300€ for labourIn a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.

Which dealer was it? Do you have all the other stuff fitted by him too, and are you happy with their service?
I'm from Belgium too...

Hi and welcome
I ordered the DIII with roofrack, so obvious had to be fitted by the dealer.
As for the winch cutting in the bumper is required, I didn't want to mess it up, and pay extra in case something goeas wrong
I go to Van Damme at Dendermonde, as for now I'm happy with their work and serviceIn a time of chimpanzees, I was a penguin.
