Trying to get the necessaries together for this years servce.
Got the C1 oil at a good price from what used to be a site sponsor, I think, which has been the awkward item in the past.
Not looking to go anywhere to get the bits due to COVID, so t'internet is my friend/enemy this year.
I can get oil filter cheap at a site sponsor, and the sump plug too. But when postage is added, it's no longer cheap. In fact, the 2 items together can't be checked out as it's under £10 !
Halfords want double the price for the MANN filter ... Bosch one will save ~£5
Sump plug ... I've always done "new" but can it be reused ? if not, what's it's spec and I'll look on eBay.
Might do diff oil change ... car is 10 years old next week but not done 70K yet. any recommendations for buying it in a 2 litre container ? has to be cheaper than 2 x 1 litres, surely ?
Air filter ... probably won't bother as car has done less than 3K miles since last service.
Same for cabin filter.
all advice appreciated.
except DSL saying "STRIP", of course..

£11 for a MANN oil filter on ECP... using their latest code, Bosch is the about same price (very slightly less).... is it not just the washer you need to change on the sump plug ?I want to see the sweets before I get into your windowless van... I'm not stupid!

It'll be cheaper to buy the right stuff than buy a D3 to use this, won't it? .
