Just had my 48,000km service at $668.00.
Parts were $312.00 (fuel filter $152.62) labour at $286.51.
Where can I find out what is to be done at each kilometre service. If it is just oil changes etc I could get these done locally (by a bloke who can work under warranty) and save a 240km drive and a full day lost. Obviously, if the car needs to go on the computor I'll have to take the drive. 2006 HSE TDV6 Bonatti Grey, ECB bull bar, tropical roof, LG Next G car kit, Tom Tom GPS, UHF, Mitchell Bros tow bar, Kimberley Kamper Limited Edition camper trailer and 23 foot Haines Signature half cabin (Towed separately!)

I have asked the same of the dealer and boy are they evasive. A service = oil change & inspection, B&C I have been told are inspections. This is on a TDV6.
A service = about $300
B service = about $370 (incl. $75 pollen filter)
C service = I have not had one & don't look forward to it might have to sell all the BHP's As this is the big one, I think. Did you think I would leave you crying,
When there's room in my D3 for 7,
Climb in here Joe we'll soon be flying,
I can go just as fast with 7.

It's interesting that, in the USA at least, the owner's manual contains a list of items required for each service. This has not been included in the Oz manual, obviously to discourage you from going to your local bloke instead of the Dealer. (The yank service lists are not directly comparable with Australia as they have only A and B services.)
Our ex-dealer in Adelaide quoted a King's ransom to change the oil and filter - the local Nissan/Mazda dealer did the job for $165 Could not reset the computer service reminder of course, but I can live with that....
The new Land Rover dealer is still to welcome me to the fold, so I don't know how much he will expect to harvest.
And finally, I feel that the Pollen Filter is in the same category as the time-honored charge to top up the washer bottle etc. - just another unnecessary job to help the workshop profitability. Ex Defender 110 200Tdi owner.
