"Service Record Booklet" - am I totally stuffed.....

Car is going in for it's yearly service and MOT tomorrow, but cannot find the service book anywhere Big Cry Big Cry

I have the first three on the "Land Rover Online Service History" site, the next two were serviced by independents but I do have the invoices and the work carried out for both.

Any bright suggestions as to what to do please Sad Sad

Thanks

I knocked up "extra sheets" for my booklet as it was full. Can email to you if of use then stick in booklet when it turns up.

Unless you’ve physically had a service book and have lost it, it may well be that there isn’t one. Everything is done on-line these days it seems, and our 2016 D4 has never had a physical book. I just ensure that I get a printout for everything that has been done.

The suppling dealer will sell you a service book and stamp it with the PDI and any service schedule they completed. You can then contact any other independent/main dealer and get them to stamp the book according to your invoices and their records.

There wasn't a service record book with my MY14 D4 [as far as I'm aware], everything is online.
[no doubt a ploy by LR to ensure you get your LR serviced by only a LR dealer ....or am I being cynical?]

However, I bought a generic service recod book off of Amazon, added a few appropriate LR stickers on the cover, then wrote up the detail of my D4 on the inside cover.
I then got a print out of the service record, cut out each service, made an entry at each service on the book, then pasted the end of each cut out to the appropriate service.
Since I've compiled this, I get the page/section written up and stamped by the garage, just as you would with a normally supplied service book.
This way I've got full service detail all together in a chronilogical order [which does include LR independants services/belt change].
I keep this service record book within the LR supplied folder along with all LR relevant paperwork.
Works for me. Thumbs Up

It wouldn't have had a service booklet from new, as the online history was the place they would record it. Good independents can also add to the online history.

So, either just keep the invoices, or buy a replacement service booklet, but then you need to get it stamped for the previous services.

regards
Steve

And of course you can access the online history and print it off easily if you want to.

See https://osh.landrover.com/

Early D4s won’t be there and D3s certainly aren’t.
