Service Intervals

Am I right in thinking that the service intervals are every 15,000 miles Question , for some reason I was under the impression they were at 12,000 Confused , just that if it is 12,000 I will need to get it serviced before going to Tunisia.

Yup 15k, unless you're in or drive in extreme conditions.

It is 15,000 but I'd still get it serviced before and take a spare air, cabin and fuel filter with you to change out there as needed, then consider an oil, oil filter, cabin filter and air filter change again once back in the UK.

But that's just me and not based on any deep-seated engineering knowledge, just a healthy respect for the job that filters do in sandy/dusty environments.
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

Not to throw a spanner in the works... but is it 15,000 miles or 12 months whichever is sooner?

I've just had mine serviced at 38,500 miles as the service indicator came on. (30,000mile service was carried out April 07)

Car is now just 5 months old, and has done 9,100 miles, never been in 'dusty conditions' yet or off road Neutral
