Service Interval Information |
|
I understand you can see when your service interval is next due by inserting the ignition key and pressing the trip button on the dash within 5 seconds? However, I can not seem to get this to work at all?
Any ideas? Am i doing it wrong? DISCO3 TDV6 SE Auto, Zambezi Silver,

Wierd. Mine is currently on 78 days to go.
It started to appear when switching the ignition on around 11 or 12 days ago, and has been counting down a day ever since.
It seems to be counting down to a year from when my d3 was last serviced. Doesn't seem related to mileage as I'm on 28k at the moment, and am actually getting it serviced next week... IE - 05 D3 TDV6 HSE - Zambezi Silver

My understanding and experience is that at the Service the counter is reset for it's next service - in Australia it is every 6 months. So at the end of the 5th month the indicator appears with 30 days to next service.
There is no relationship to distance travelled as it is related to time only.
I might be wrong but this is how mine has been working for the last 2 services.
