What should I do sell or keep
Hi guys .
I've a decision to make soon and I'm unsure what to do and I'm looking for advice .
If you have seen any if my other posts you will know I've bought this d3 and done some work to get it sorted and it more or less there now but I've also stil got my d2 and one has to go .
The disco 2 has had a lot of work which inc the welding and a new transfer box with difflock and the dreaded diesel in the oil because of a cracked inj pocket has been done so it's pretty much sorted out .
The d3 is ...well an unknown excepting the work done after the accident it had had I know nothing about it .
So what would the advice be from owners on here which should I move on .
Regards Baz

Has it had the brake servo mod done?
I would sorn the D2 for a few months, and run the D3 to see how you both get on.
The next few months will be a poor time to sell anything.

He means strip the 3. As on this forum people are like magpies for parts
Me, personally- I couldn’t strip a car I’ve just sent time building up.Defender 110 2.4 TDCi Utility Station Wagon.

Best advice so far - the D2 isn't going to depreciate and you'll find it hard to shift a D3 with issues at the best of times Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE

Agreed. And you’d be surprised how therapeutic dismantling the D3 is. Plus there is demand for most parts, no matter how obscure.
