secondary oil drain on turbo

ive seen this mentioned in a few threads on the D3 and D4 , whats the craic , should I do it on my newly acquired D3??

Only a problem on D4 second turbo. D3 has only one turbo but of coarse has it's own well documented problems but at least not that problem. Stu
