Seats
I am a bit fed up with LR. They have cancelled my booking three times now
for the Technical Bulletin replacement of my seat pads. LR Customer Service were helpful and tried to get
the parts, but no luck. I'm only 5'2 and I'm finding the seat increasingly uncomfortable as it's now sagging badly. Anybody else having difficulty getting these parts? Surely if LR put out a bulletin, the parts should be readily available??
Moan over, I'm still in love with my car...If you never try, you'll never know...
I've booked mine in for Tuesday next week, so i'll provide an update then, not sure where you are but I'm based in the Midlands and will be visiting Sturgess Leicester.
The seats aren't that bad yet, just starting to sag. I want to get them done before I visit Seat Surgeons for a leather upgrade next month.
Mine should have been done on Tuesday, but parts are on back order with no delivery date - sorry

I took mine in for new front seat covers (quoting the relevant TSB) and they changed the seat squabs at the same time. They must have had them to hand as the car was only away three days for that and some other bits and pieces. The seat squabs were the heated variety if that makes a difference in supply time. Maybe I was lucky and Taunton LR had them on the shelf.

My new driver's seat seems to have a particularly hard and uncomfortable left bolster. Hoping it breaks in with wear.
I didn't know there was a TSB for this, which one is it.

I'm glad someone posted that link as I now think I have the two problems. I appear to have "sinking seat syndrome" too.... Thanks guys! If you never try, you'll never know...
Spoke to the sealers this afternoon, LR are saying 21st March - it will be a numb bum till Easter then !

Mine were ordered 1st week in December and fitted in early January. So it would seem there is an ongoing supply and demand issue."To finish first, one first has to finish ...."
