Seat frame rail bolts ?
Newbie question here : I'd like to raise the front of the drivers seat a couple of cm's, but the frame rail bolts are of the tamper proof kind. Tips how to remove the bolts, please :
the frame rail bolts are of the tamper proof kind.
Could there perhaps be a good reason for this situation? A vaccine does not stop you catching a virus, or passing it on, or getting ill from it, really ill. It does reduce the likelyhood of you dying when really, really ill. Stay Alive - KEEP AWAY FROM PEOPLE.

the bolt indicated by red arrow is a torx. I meant the one indicated by the green arrow. This is rounded, not torx. I want to remove this one, add a spacer below the frame rail and re-attach (possible needing to loosen the rear frame rail bolts as well in the prodecure).
that the top of a weld stud, that's not coming out unless you grind the head off.

Search the posts of a forum member named nwoods. He did a seat rail extension modification to his seat because he wanted additional leg room. I presume you could fit a spacer in the same area that he put an extension in. The post was called something like "seat adjustment for taller drivers" or close to it. You might find your answer there.16 D4 Landmark
