Great tip....just done mine as my missus has to pull over thinking there was a problem (again) with the D3 when all she had was a small parcel on the passenger seat. Thank you so much

Yup - the old 'nine times' trick is surely the best tip for any D3/4 owner! 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)

You don't need the dealer Morgis - as posted above, just turn the ignition on, then push the seatbelt buckle into it's holder and release it nine times within a minute. On the ninth time, the car will bong once and from then on the audible seatbelt alarm will not sound. Doing the 9-times trick again re-enables the audible alarm... 2001 D2 GS (I must be mad!)

Hi,
Why not just click the seat belt in the holder, carry whatever load you want on the seat and when finished just uncouple the seat belt as normal no need to play around with cancelling the bong etc.
Simple!!
