Yep , an admitted fault and the TSB directs the dealer to rectify by fitting new padding & upholstery.

technical service bulletin - meaning - land rover recognize there is a problem, this is how the dealer 'should' sort it out (see my post in dealer feedback hillendale for explanation of 'should').

If this is a 2006 TSB I wonder why my drivers seat MY08 is affected this way?

I have exactly this problem with the front passenger seat of my 07 model. Was like this from day1 but didn't think it was an issue and would settle down. Needless to say it hasn't and I am now concerned about undue wear so I went back to the dealer (Pratst??ne) three weeks ago. Service manager said they would either repair or replace - took photos etc - but I haven't heard a thing from him since. He is about to get a reminder call. Thanks for the info - this strengthens my case! I was taught to be cautious.

My 08 model has been in to the dealers this morning for this problem at 13K miles. Drivers's seat looks like it's done 200k miles. They've taken photographs and sent them off to LR.

Really stupid question time - if you are out of warranty will they still do this or not? (I'm guessing not)

Exact same problem with my drivers seat, looks like a very high miler or used by an extremely large person.
What I dont get however is how come the TSB was issued in October 2006 and vehicles built well after that date are still affected. If the car is less than 3 years old is it a straight replacement under warranty?
