Search function too sensitive?

Both mobile (Android) and PC (Windows 10) keep telling me I need to wait a few seconds before searching "again", when it's my first search in quite a while.

Double clicking or tapping?

If you search just after looking at new posts, then this counts as two - new posts is a search.

The required delay between searches helps with database load and I’m not keen to scrap it.

Tapping ... and most frequently on "active threads"

I've found this too, both when using android or Windows.

It could be 10 to 15 minutes between logging in and tge message pops up.

I have in the past logged in via Disco 3 then used the tab at the bottom of the screen to enter Disco5 but it is now on those occasions I also get the "wait" message.

It seemed to have started this late on Wednesday evening.

No issues here. Usual 2 or 3 second block before another search, but has always been like that.

I'm still having the same issue.

Been logged out since last night and this morning, after 8 hours or so I still got the message of not being able to search so soon.

I'd not actually got on the site when that came up. Another half dozen attempts and it let me on.

I'm seeing similar over the last day or so. Initially get the message about waiting a few seconds then try again and I have to log in again.

I had to log in multiple times yesterday even though I had 'keep me logged in' checked. Never had this before.

Yep same issues here on Android.

If someone could do a screen recording of this happening that would be useful. Cannot replicate this at all, and no changes made to site code recently.

Potentially it is a change at Cloudflare which sits in front of the site now.

I hadn't tried to log in for about 4 hours but when I just tried I got the following message.

Then a further half dozen attempts before I could get the topic to open.

I really need a screen recording, a video screenshot.
