SDV6 Cam Chains?
Does anyone know of any service/replacement interval for the Cam Chains?
I have an SDV6 3.0 MY2014 with 106,000 on the clock. Will be replacing both T-belts, tensioners and idlers, [including water pump], very soon for Dayco OEM.
I have had a search on the Forum and Google to no avail. Any insight would be appreciated.

There is no service interval as such, but at 106k the chains and tensioner should be fine if the vehicle was serviced regularly.
Generally speaking, on higher mileage vehicles if the chains or tensioners need attention this can be identified by "chain rattle" on cold start up.yµ (idµ - eAµ) ψ=mψ

My Disco has a Full History file from both Dealer and Specialist with regular Service Intervals.
Not a guarantee of no trouble.... but a reasonable certainty of good condition I would hope.
