Some Scroat shot at me with a Paintball gun today |
|
No I wasn't paint-balling, I was driving to Nuneation to meet with Mantec and heard the impact, thinking it was something kicked up by a passing car.
Then this afternoon I spotted the blue paint runs and found the impact point - fortunately on the rear side glass panel - I recon if it had the body work it would have dented it

Maybe a good job you didn't drop by for a beer then - seeing as you were less than 5 miles away "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

I'd have got a clear shot, if it wasn't for the pesky hand injury "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

I did think of calling you to see about meeting up but it was a last minute arrangement with Mantec and I had to get there by 8am and back home by 1200noon - only just made it back in time too.

Where you heading. Ratby is good as is the one at Bassetts Pole - not been for years. Not since a psycho ran out of paintballs and used the rifle butt to get his way to the flag "To finish first, one first has to finish ...."

Christian? The competitive type? Never!
I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

I went to one of the national companies, they have a site at Hockley Heath, near Solihull, it was a good day in the snow, forgot how much it hurts and how expensive it gets when youget carried away, doing 100 - 200 paintballs per site, two games per site and six sites , got some good welts.

Used to play semi pro paintball back when it was all the rage. 300 foot per second I seem to recall was the limit for a paintball leaving the end of the barrel back then... Probably been H&S reigned in now though.
Seen a semi automatic paintball gun make a car windscreen look like a crazy paving exhibit

H&S not got too much of a grip, lots of briefings and warnings , told standard gun leaves barrel at approx 180mph, not that accurate , need to put down half dozen to find range each time, £10 upgrade gives you an M16 paintgun, more powerful and lot more accurate due to proper sights , next time if there is a next time I would have the upgrade
