On occasions get loud screeching on start up
Not ever time - about 50/50
When it happens if I press start/stop it stops
It's not consistent with cold or warm starts. Just random
I am assuming it's the EPB
I don't put it on but assume it goes on automatically?
It's under warranty so will get sorted - just curious D4 HSE - Aintree Green

Maybe the 50/50 is when I drive it and don't use it vs swmbo who uses it every time D4 HSE - Aintree Green

I just had the exact same thing and it was the Aux belt tensioner D3 in Buckingham blue now SWMBO's Mine D4 commercial

I have spent most of the day trying to trace a squeak on start up, I was convinced it was the alternator that I fitted 6 months ago, took it off and put the old one on to confirm or iliminate, I wasn't. All the bearings on the jockey/tensioner pulleys and water pump good, I finally traced it to tensioner part of the tension pulley. It can when others can't,
It will when others won't,
It goes where others don't.
