scrape on the GRP...
On the back of the tin tent I've caught something with the rear corner... it has left red scratch marks.
How can I remove them without damaging the plastic/grp rear? I've got some "safe cut" which I've had for about 20 years in a drawer but is still "ok"... was thinking of this with plenty of water and an extremely light hand to remove them...
... anyone have a better suggestion?MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)

try a "magic eraser" - I use it to get rid off all sorts of stuff, it really is "Magic" Duncan

Oops!
Use a clay bar first, this may get all the colour off. Then I'd use a machine polisher with a fine compound cut, and go slowly.

I wouldn't bother with all that faffing around with a machine polisher until you've tried a magic eraser
weve removed all sorts of scuffs and stains off the caravan. it even removed denim jean blue stains off the alpacha D3 seats. something we couldn't do with even the best leather cleaner.Duncan

In a couple of weeks the summers are going back on and those alloys have some of that so will test it and let you know. That said it's so damn cheap, buy some and try yourself, even if it didn't work you'll find a number of other uses for it MY15 DIY Black Pack (Better than factory and half the price!)
