You mean having a sump guard and RAI doesn't make you a good driver

depends how thick the plastic is on the RAI...

It was after watching this vid when if first came out that made me want to participate in at least one CB...(must be mad... Shocked )
The next American ex-pat that calls it a "truck" is going to find out what 2.7 tons feels like on their foot...

Club "yes, I too have had the EGR's replaced..."
Club "yes, I too have had the compressor replaced..."
Club "yes, I too once had the car at the dealer for a couple of weeks nearly 4 weeks over 4 weeks...5 weeks"
Club "yes, I too have had EPB failure..."
Club "yes, I too get mysterious bings and bongs..."

Thumbs Up Great scenery, great driving. Too much pressure because of the 'hurry up and get through' mentality, due entirely to the number of people taking part.

Would love to drive the routes again, just not with the hundreds of others doing it at the same time.

Stu - I was talking to DiscoDunc earlier this year (at Bala) and he basically said the same thing...I would love to do this - but as you allude to, it looks like the CB event itself is now very crowded.

But do you think it is allowed to drive that area apart from as part of the CB event ? My understanding is that the route is especially opened just for the CB ?
