...on the way home tonight.
Heading east along the M62 in the ' 50mph speed restricted' area between Bradford & Leeds there was a gritter waggon in the middle lane, lights flashing, doing about 40. Everyone was doing the sensible thing and just passing it either side although it was not actually 'gritting' at the time.
As I aproached in the outside lane it became aparrent that their was a small car right behind the gritter waggon whose driver was totally oblivious as to what she was following. When I say 'right behind', I mean she was right up it's chuff!
Then the gritter driver - Gary? - let loose the grit and absolutely hammered this little car with about 1/4 ton of grit/salt.
The look on that woman's face was a picture. Made me laugh all the way home. Dozy Cow!

Go on, tell me it was a Prius and really make my evening I know it's not considered "kind" to say no these days, but no. Just no, ok? And if it's not ok, still no.

DisoDad
If you drive this stretch again - be wary the cameras are now fully operational...some of our trucks have been caught at 50+ a few mph... BREXIT - done properly.
Right now ...We need Government - not Politics
Save the Dipstick Flagbearer-keep it simple, less likely to fail campaign-agenda items:Starting Handles, Acetylene Lamps.
Founder: Dipsticks-R-Us Inc
D3 HSE-perfectly formed, passenger friendly...has real DIPSTICK
Jag XK-but sadly no DIPSTICK...HUGE design fault
FL2 has DIPSTICK..."real comfort in rear seats"
VW Golf wondermobile (?)..has real DIPSTICK
Morris Minor..original DIPSTICK technology..and a real KEY.

I know. I drive though it at least twice a week.
Also the 2 mile gap between the 2 sets of roadworks is still restricted to 50mph and the cameras are linked.
I have seen people come past me at 70 on that bit!
Numptys!
