Very nice video, but something similar has been done before - without having to install an new GPS antenna in the window of the Hercules.
I drove my BMW 530d into the back of a Hercules (already fitted with an internal GPS re-broadcast system) and turned on the SatNav. Every so often I went back down to the car to see a the maps car symbol wizzing through the UK, the position was ok. We all thought it was reasonably cool. Of course, the D3 waypoint system would have been even better.
Perhaps I should have made my own vid. If or when my D3 goes flying I must remember to take some pictures' although the tie-down issues with the air suspension would need carefull thought.

Talk to the movers, they'll have the map for the tie-down or maybe not - Muppets!
BTW, I may be going sausage - side again soon, maybe see you at LYN?

I think I will wait until they sort out this recent 'car = dangerous air cargo' rubbish, otherwise I would have to get the muppets to 'help'. In my last job it was very handy to be able to put my car on a passing Herc. Not really needed it in my current job.
That said, many years ago I did have a Loadie try and put a strop through and across the open windows of my car, to stop it being thrown about so much... I enquired if he though the door was stronger than the suspension. Still, he did lay some blue bin liners across the bonnet to avoid any hyd leaks vs paint issues.
No doubt you will see me at LYN, do you drive your D3 there too?
Unless the car's packed, IATA says it's dangerous air cargo!
Shows how to strap it down without putting straps through the windows though

As for Cockers, well he is now a desk jockey, but he did get promoted.
Thankfully I have not learned how to recognise Loadies from that direction. I fly the K, not the J.
