Satnav 'caution screen'
Just taken delivery of my D3 SE and am enjoying it thoroughly except for one irritation ...... the 'caution screen' that appears on the satnav, which requires you to press 'accept' to some inane warning before using the system. Please, does anyone know how to switch this off? As far as I am concerned, I have read the caution and have accepted it. Why then do I have to keep accepting it?

ps. sorry if this topic has already been covered earlier; I did search but could not find it.
What I find annoying is having to go to Off Road Nav and enabling the compass every time I want to see the compass when the 4x4 info screen is on. Have a nice day!

I don't have an LR SatNav, but I have both TomTom and Mitac portable versions. Both have this "Nanny Message" when you start them. I am assuming it is a CYA thing from the manufacturers. They do not want anyone to use the defence "The SatNAv told me to do it" when in court on a driving charge. For this reason I guess the messages will not be easy to disable.Too much intellectual firepower can damage your common sense.
Is it on the DVD ? if so I would have thought someone would be able to alter it.

I'm sure it's hard-wired into the kit. I had a Subaru with Kenwood SatNav - the box and screen layout are identical in appearance.2006 D3 finally swapped for a 2016 D4 Graphite in Graphite grey. No mods
