Sat nav screen freeze

Hi all, I am sure I have read about this on here somewhere but can't find it.

My HSE 07my has developed a strange habit!

Occasionally, the sat nav screen will not respond to touch for some time, remaining on the 'i agree' bit (if you know what I mean!), until the vehicle has been driven for about 10 miles or so. I told the dealers about this when it went in for it's first service yesterday. No surprise that nothing has changed!
Does anyone know if this is a known problem, or has anyone else experienced it?

Regards,

Martin W

The fingers you have used to dial are too fat. To obtain a special dialing wand, please mash the keypad with your palm now

Sorry, no more help than DG, but it makes me chuckle anyway.

I have had a similar freeze up, not on the 'agree' screen, but on the 'postcode' bit of destination enter. It was followed by a 'DVD Map read error' message.

I removed the dvd and cleaned the dust of it, and it never happened since.

mine freezes up on the logo every so often...screws up the stereo as well........it is then screwed for several hours (i.e. a restart doesn't clear it, seems to need to "dwell" overnight)

Damn annnoying and never fixed.........

Mine would show the Land Rover Logo and freeze, so all I opened the glove box, removed the fuse for the nav/radio, and put it back in. And sure enough the logo was gone and all was back to normal.
