a little off topic her but do i need to do any wire cutting on a RRS or is it just plug and play with the enabled ccf? Sorry to but in but curious as i her looked for this answer and can't seem to be able to find it.

No wires need to be cut if its on a RR Sport as the screen knows it connected to a RRS when booting up, just CCF edit , fit camera and should work.

It doesn't work sadly as I tried it.

Remember you need to make it think it's a FF RR

Most ppl fit a switch to the cut wire.

Narpy - what's the image from yours like at night? Love how stock it looks BTW.

Is this the same as the one you installed? Is there a cavity within the tailgate handle?

I like the idea of a camera with Infra Red LEDs. The best one I can find that looks like it might work is below. Most listed as IR seem to have white light LEDs. Is there a better option?

The image at night isn't too bad but I do have the very bright reverse light LED's fitted. Thumbs Up

There's plenty of room inside the door handle to fit the camera, it's hollow all the way to the top of the handle, I was surprised just how roomy they are inside. Thumbs Up Mods:

That one arrived for me last week.

Seam ok, although the lense maybe a bit dirty inside looking at the marks on the picture!

It has permeant reversing lines.

I'm part way though fitting it to an RRS.

The drill supplied is fairly useless. Didn't even manage to complete one hole in the spoiler!

I thought I'd jump in to this thread rather than start another.

I've got a reversing camera that is enabled via GVIF, and that comes on automatically when reverse is selected.

Only recently, that hasn't been the case. The screen does recognise that reverse has been selected, as it changes from the usual display, only it changes to a black screen now. I've checked all the wiring and everything seems intact, any ideas about why the camera no longer displays?

sounds like the GVIF is doing something.

I would blame the camera (there are cheap and outside)
or a wiring fault (power to camera, or camera to GVIF fault)
