I am technically and mechanically inept. Can anyone in the Northwest give me a price to connect the Rosen DVD to the sat nav screen. I need the cable and connectors. Please PM me with the price.

Hi,
I recently bought a Disco 3 TDV6 HSE. Read through this site extensively for info on about everything on my Disco 3.
My 4x4 Info is enabled and I do have SatNav (2005 Update though). Is there any other info that I can access through this unit? For example: Engine info, Oil Pressures, Clock, Maintenance? I'm a gadget guy and would like to get all out of this system.

Next I press hidden button put in code I should be all set???? Thanks.

Hi, I've just purchased the cable from this website, will I require any other cables or connectors to make the connection between the front sat nav and the over head DVD player.
Thanks

First of all a big thanks to everyone on the instructions on how to do this. I purchased cables for the rear inputs on the nav screen and ran wires so I'm able to hook up a portable DVD player and everything works great. Is there a way to hide the PAL, WIDE, and return arrow from the screen while watching a DVD? Also I activated the reverse camera with my IIDTool. When I go into the setup screen it says it's fitted. I haven hooked up a camera yet but when I put it in reverse the screen doesn't do anything. If I hook up the camera will it automatically switch to the reverse camera? I installed a double female RCA plug in the rear so I could hook up the DVD player.

I bought some SMA to phono adaptors and I can see the camera input under the test screen but it's not an option on my SAT/NAV, 4x4, settings screen. D3 HSE do I have to enable it or as above do the 'mod to RR' to get the reverse cam to display?Dave

Mod will be easiest, though how the GVIF switches the screen to show reverse I'm not sure. I just thought it was an video interface unit Dave
