Hi I bought my LR3 in Qatar, Middle East and took it back home to Belgium where I wanted to upload the European maps into my Sat Nav system. Unfortunately the system does not recognise the original Navteq DVD's and only shows a blank screen with only menu options that appear map invisable. According to the Landrover dealer, who tried to sort this out, I have to buy a new DVD player for Eur 1,200 which seams a rather expensive solution for a Sat Nav system . Anyone any idea's?
thanks Dmitri

Hi Dmitri,
Try some off the specialist breakers for parts for example equicar.
Alternativel contact TLO for a better price.
I read a few days ago a thread where someone was retrofitting sat nav in a D3, he had used the player from a RRS.
Good luck.

There are some settings in the CCF (car configuration file ) that allow changes to the sat nav region and system
But i doubt your dealer will have access to them G4 Gone ...but not forgotten

It's the NAVTEQ system. Contacted them but they tell me I need to contact Landrover HQ for help.

Just a thought; Are you using an original Land Rover DVD of European maps? Or a Navteq one. If you have the OEM Sat Nav an OEM disc should work. This may be why Navteq are directing you to Land Rover rather than being helpful.
Wiggs had some OEM discs for sale, I'm sure he can help you out if this is the problem.

So i guess I have to look for a smart guy back in Belgium who could do the trick? Or is there another option?
