Hi all, i`m after a little help just bought a new 09/10 sat nav disc for my 07 SE disco when it is in the dvd all screen buttons work except the postcode and address input buttons any advise greatly received

no idea then - tried taking it out and putting it back in again? clutching/ straws with that one! 2014 D4 XS

yeah i`ve tried that but still the same,when the 06 disc is in i have a map of uk and the rest of europe but with the new disc there is no map that is the only difference i can see

Make sure it's set to the right country ...the default is Belgium ISTR 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

i have 3 discs,the one i have in only has GBR FRA SPN Aand a couple others no belgium.

In the sat nav settings menu on the touch screen is it set to the correct country ? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

You could try to re-calibrate the nav system from the settings menu...other than that you may have a faulty disc? 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

just tried re-calibrating to no success,do you know if i just insert the new disc and away we go or should i be unplugging anything from the back of the dvd unit or resetting in any way?

No, you should just stick the new disc in and be away. It might be worth contacting Wiggs on the site, he probably knows more about the Sat Nav than anyone else. D3 HSE MY05 Auto

Apologies if this offends (not the intention), but on the basis that the most obvious/basic solutions are sometimes the easiest to overlook........
Where are you inserting the nav DVD? I believe that every human has a finite number of heart-beats. I don't intend to waste any of mine running around doing exercises.
