Hi here, I will be attempting the Sani Pass in April this year and was wondering if there was any additional "kit" I might need (pull straps, shovels, etc) to take along? Or is it a relatively "easy" route? "Randy the Landy" - 07 Discovery 3 TDV6 SE,

It's always possible the road has changed with the rains, but this time last year it was an easy drive requiring some common sense and care in a couple of places, but no real off road experience. Some of it was in the process of being graded and was more or less like any other gravel road.

Sani is spectacular , and easy to do if surface has no ice.
You need to do zero to your vehicle.

Donno how true it is, but I read there are Minibus Taxi's flying up there regularly (and in the snow nogal).
VW Beetles have made it up there so the Disco is a overkill by far
