Sand Mode and Sports Mode |
|
Has anyone noticed any difference when using BOTH Sand Mode and Sports Mode? I expected to have the get up and go of Sand Mode on top of the slinky changing of Sports Mode but it doesn't seem to happen.
I have failed to detect any compounding of the modes as one seems to override the other.
What are users' experiences? BTW, this is onroad and NOT offroad that I am talking about. LeighW

* first ran a bearing (design failure in original engine)
* second had a failure of the water outlet on top of the engine (pls check yours)

As Heine says TR over rides sport mode. Sand mode changes the engine management to hold higher revs in higher gears, reduces the DSC effect, the gearbox management changes to start in and hold higher gears for easier progress in soft sand.
Sport gives higher revs and shortens the throttle response, max DSC effect to control tramp steer, starts in lower gear for max acceleration.
They are not designed for the same application.
