Samsung Tocco Lite - compatible ??
there seems to be a lot of phone threads at the moment so i though I would start another
MrsDiscoDunc is looking for a new phone and has decided on the Samsung Tocco Lite and as she will be getting the D3 when ive worn it out!, wants to make sure its compatible
Unfortunalty the LR compatibility list doesnt show it when i put in my VIN. to confuse matters a little further I had the bluetooth module replaced with an 08 unit many months ago so i guess the the compatibility against vin is now a red herring !
so my question is : has any one got the Samsung Tocco lite working and can the LR system see the phonebook ??Duncan

she will only use it as a phone and for texting, and photos - emails come into the main home domain and then onto my blackberry so she doesnt need email
£440.... thats the price of 4 new LF140's and almost the price of a locking rear diff on a D4Duncan

Dunc,
My Tocco Lite "works" reasonably with Bluetooth (when its connected).
It asks for the passcode every time you turn on the ignition, and sometimes it connects.
Other times it won't connect, and you have to do it manually.
Once connected, it can make & receive calls, but it won't display any call info, no phonebook, no signal info.
I've only had my 06 HSE for 2 weeks and its already driving me mad - I'm considering changing back to my 5 year old Nokia just to get it working!

I have a Samsung Jet and the Girlfriend has a Samsung Tocco Ultra, neither of which pair automatically with the D3 bluetooth! Think it must be a Samsung thing!! Its really annoying!
