samsaung galaxy s 2 in car phonebook and call lists |

Afternoon all,
Had a new phone samsung galaxy s2. had no problem pairing with the land rover and can make and recive phone cal. ls, only issue is it dont want to sync the phone book with the land rover, so no caller id or call lists had a look on lr website and my phone is fully compatable. When pairing is comed up on the phone, phonebook access any ideas people

When you pair the phone to the car it pops up a new window saying that the car is wanting access... (you may need to look for it in your notifications bar ) ....you need to 'tick the box' for auto approve and then approve the notification....
S2 does work with D4
Suggest you go into Bluetooth settings..delete Land Rover & start again....

Just a suggestion - Could it be if that contacts are stored on the SIM rather than phone memory

S2 and S3 work on my D4 fine, though they are both a little slow in loading the phonebook, can vary 30 sec to 5 mins D4 Landmark MY16 Santorini Black THE LAST

Good point ...they need to be in memory ..do people still store contacts on their sim Cheers Ian

Okay not meaning to sound stupid, but have got the phone book to show in the d4, but it is showing me surname first as i scroll down, and no before anyone askes this has not how it is on the phones memory even tried storing the names in the phone as surnames first to see if this would spin the names around in the land rover phone book. any suggestions anyone? SSDD.
