Morning all , I have these wheels & tyres that I no longer need , wheels are in good condition and tyres are legal , wheels are 19 inch with 255/55R 19 tyres on them £200

Aww fudge, I've just bought 2 new Scorpions, and 2 more needed in a couple of months, these would have been ideal and the alloys look in good nick

If I didn't live where I do, and didn't have four 'spare' sets of wheels for our D3 and D4 already, I would be down there like a shot.
Simple economics: Even if the tyres only have 5k left on them then that is a total 20k of wear left - similar to a new tyre for a similar cost, yet by the time they have worn down you have a spare set of rims for winter or off-road tyres to be fitted.
I have long been an advocate of having more than one set of wheels for a car - provided the rims don't set you back too much, which these won't, then ultimately you will get the full mileage out of each set of tyres provided you do a sensible mileage each year. That is in addition to having the most appropriate tyres fitted at any one time, be they winter, summer or off-road. With a half-decent 18v impact gun and trolley jack the 4 wheels can be changed in under half an hour. Simples!Currently 2009 Disco 3 SE, 2013 MY D4 HSE and 2016 D4 SE
