I used to have this, running off the mains as a beer fridge in the garage, but as I have an Engel in the trailer I tend to now use this and as such, the Waeco has been stored in the corner gathering dust for about 1 year!
I've just, got it out, cleaned it and turned it on and it's starting to cool down, but please see the notes below.
The Problem:
The fridge has some kind of loose connection, so when you first plug it in on the mains, you need to 'fiddle' with the cable a bit to get it to come on. But once on it stays on
The issue seems to be around where the power cables enters the fridge, indeed if you take a look at the pics, you will see that I have removed the screws around the vent and this makes it works much better, as soon as you put the screws back on it no longer works - When I switched it on after the clean, it didn't come on, but a quick movement of a few mms on the cable, brought the power on
So the issue is very much in that area, and I'm sure fairly simple for somebody with the 'know-how' to fix?
I have found that the issue does seem to impact the 12v cable more, as it's far more of a struggle to get it to work when on 12v. Of course this is an issue when travelling, as car/trailer movement etc has an impact, also much harder to get it going in the first place when on 12v
I am not an expert in this area, but having it in the garage as a beer fridge worked perfectly for me, and it always stayed on.
Fridge will come with 12v and mains power cable, basket, separator and Ice cube maker box
PLEASE REMEMBER, that you are buying a fridge which has some issues , don't expect it to work first time, you will need to either get it fixed, fix it yourself, or use it as I have as a beer fridge in the garage (With cable fiddling )

Now for price, hard to value this, could probably get £250-£300 (I paid £345 for it a few years ago)if it didn't have the issue, but I think it's a simple fix. Looking for £150 ono, as this gives you a few funds to get it fixed properly

Ive had one of these for a good few years now, leave it on the middle rear seat ( folded down) all summer.
They are a good machine, Mine does fridge or freezer, assume this does the same.
Its been a great asset.

Yes I think so, I may still have the box that my Engel came in, let me have a look and see if it'll fit.
This is really heavy though, I think the website states 16KGS, no idea of cost, but will drop Big Dave a pm for you
