Selling my Overlanding trailer set up - following the purchase of a bigger replacement.
Trailer has been tested and tows great on and off road. It has been used many times - including on trade stand at Peterborough Land Rover Show and the Overland Adventure Show.
Made from a Sankey wide track trailer chassis which was shot blasted before being painted with 3 coats of black chassis paint.
About the Trailer
The body is made from a 4mm galvanised steel and is a solid tank with no frame. Painted land rover bronze green and the under side has been coated and under sealed. Lid is made from 3mm aluminium chequer plate and has twin gas struts to enable it to be easily lifted even with a load strapped to the load bars. Lid is held shut by two catches that can be locked with pad locks. Rear door opens to form a work surface and the rear kitchen area includes a gas cooker, water tap ( pumps supplies water from side mounted jerry can) and 12v control panel ( 2 switches for lights 1 for water pump and three spare). Fed from 90amp/hr leisure battery. The front of the trailer is a large carpeted storage area with engineered wood floor for your table chairs etc. Both kitchen and storage area are fitted with LED lights. There is also 4 socket 240v power supply which is fitted with a safety cut out and is fed from an external socket ( short power lead included).
NOTE: This trailer has a NATO towing eye and will need a suitable tow hitch
About the Tent
The Roof Top Tent is a Tuff Trek TT02 1.4m wide with ample space for a couple plus maybe a small child. The tent has been modified to include strips of LED lights both sides. These simply require a USB power pack (I use cheap phone charge type packs).
The tent has been used for a couple of seasons and it and the mattress are in good overall condition with no significant marks and no rips or tears. The cover has born the brunt of being the most exposed item having travelled with us may thousands of miles towed behind our Land Rover, however, is in sound usable condition.
If you don't want or need the tent, you can make me an offer without this, however, I WILL NOT sell the tent without the trailer - please do not ask!
