Multipurpose Sliding Mitre Saw, manufactured in 2016 and owned by me since new. The Evolution saws are towards the bottom end of the market and arguably their unique selling point is the ability to cut steel, aluminium, wood and plastic from the same slow-running blade.
It does indeed cut multiple materials and the cut quality on metal is particularly impressive. The motor is big and has loads of torque; I doubt you could ever push it to stall. The downsides are the useless laser, uneven deck and turrets that can affect the cut on smaller pieces and the terrible / non-existent dust collection - well, at least as delivered.

Mine has been modified to address some of the weaknesses. The deck and turrets have been skimmed level, the fence tweaked, dust port re-profiled, 2 additional shrouds on the blade housing and the motor stock. The cheapo short power lead has been replaced with a proper gauge workshop mains cable long enough to satisfy a double garage. I have also fitted an 18mm thick zero-clearance insert for finer cuts:

The saw will come with a single Evolution 255mm multipurpose blade. The carbide teeth are all in good condition, nice and sharp and have not been reground:

The saw has been cleaned and inspected and will include the blade shown on the deck, 2 auxiliary support arms, top clamp, front clamp, blast deflector, dust bag, reducer bushings (to enable standard blades to be fitted), original wide-mouth plastic deck inserts (inc screws) and the zero-clearance insert shown installed. The big metal stand and red blade are not included:

we use them on site all the time for chopping up shallow unistrut and studding and have 5/6 for the cost they just get thrown away when they break
usually the drive goes but they do get hammered everyday good piece of kit would recommend MY05 SE D3 Manual my first LR what a car

Is that wood safe to burn Del? I know there are some more modern arsenic and heavy metal free wood treatments now but you could be burning Copper/Chromium/Arsenic (CCA)?
