[For Sale] Removable tow bar with security plate and attachments.
Selling my removable towball and the steel safety plate that makes it less steelable/safer when towing. Just taken it off and cleaned up, then given the whole thing a very liberal coating of GT85 to keep it nice and clean and rust free. Has one key, both the pin and locking shaft move freely and as they should. This has been used to take a disco 1 from Portsmouth to Newcastle, and to take some kayaks from Ripon to Catterick and back, and that's the only towing it's seen from me, though it handled both as expected.
The steel plate has had a small bit of surface rust removed and has been repainted black (I find it makes it look more 'stock' and less attractive to sticky fingers).
would like £120 for the set, will only consider splitting if the towball goes first.
Collected from York, or postage would be at the buyers expense as it's bloomin' 'eavy.
