Rare V8 Petrol HSE
2005 | 109K Miles | Good condition - in need of further care
Listing on here before putting her on AutoTrader - As I know you guys will understand and potentially value her more.
3 previous owners and I've owned her 7 years - got her with 46K on the clock with full service and receipts and I have the receipts for my ownership too. She's been hugely reliable, only needing a suspension compressor, front ball joints and rear bushes... and the usual discs, pads and tyres...
...and a fair few gallons of petrol!
Planned to keep her forever and a day, convert to LPG and have a roof-top-tent... but a recent divorce has limited my budget and I'm having to pass her on...
MOT due in early December so I'll renew soon and the Prop Shaft is in need of replacing so I will be doing that at the same time.
Recently had new rear tyres and before that a gearbox flush.
I've fitted a new steering wheel the wheels (custom from the US) and the custom exhaust (not loud but a nice burble at low revs)
Plenty of pictures and videos to share, just message me.
Issues that need sorting:
- Key fob not sending signal
- Driver's heated seat not working
- Needs a service (but running well)
- One parking sensor out at the front
- Exhaust needs work (currently custom side exhaust with some rust - not to everyone's taste)
- Sunroof leaked about two years ago but hasn't since
- And there is a dent in the rear pilar that was done by the previous owner, annoying but I forget it's there - paint fully intact

Not too good on this site - been very useful over the years, just not posted before!
So they should be here but they are on the gallery too
- and luckily I work from home so not needing to do big milage, quite a few trips to Cornwall though... and yes, always expensive (but worth it!)

How long is a piece of string?
Depends if it's got a V8...
So it's an easier thing to value a 'normal' diesel D3 but with these V8's being somewhat rare and sought-after I'm finding this harder to gauge the value of mine - especially in this condition.
SO...
I'm doing the Prop Shaft and the new MOT...
What interest is there at £6,500

I am interested.
I have an appointmnet booked on sunday at our local garage as they are pestering us to buy my wifes disco back off us (its worth over £10k more than we paid for it) so if that goes, we may need something in the meantime so i am very interested in this.

Wheels...
No problem! I love them! Was a pain finding the right off-set though. They are American wheels and a guy called Greg Oliver of tyres direct imported them for me (greg@tyresdirectuk.co.uk)
Tyres are: Toyo A/T plus Open Country 265/60R18/120T
