Reason for sale:
Been swithering for a while on whether I wanted / needed a roof rack.
Convinced myself I did, so bought from LRP Italy with delivery end Jan 2022.
Built the rack up in Feb in my garage
Offered it up to the D4 roof 3rd week in Feb [between the wind and rain], bolted it down to check all was ok, left it on the D4 for a week, trying out *LED light bars on front and rear, sat for a week or so [with only about 12 miles travelled] ..... then took it all off last week.
Decided that as my needs had changed, I now didn't require a roof rack.
Oh, and a new unexpected expenditure also contributed for the need to sell
* have two new LED bars 40" & 50" also for sale.
Benefits of this roof rack:
It's ultra slim, fits direct to the roof [after removing rails - no drilling required] and gives a nice low profile.
if required, brackets can be purchased to allow fitment on top of short or full length roof rails.
Cross bars can be spaced to allow for full sunroof use and to accomodate the rear antenna [if fitted].
It can be set up as a full length rack and if/when required, can be adjusted to use as a 3/4 roof rack.
It can be easily transported in the boot of a D3/4, with rear seats down [I have a pic of this].
Cost of rack:
[992eu + vat] £997 inc vat + Carriage + Custom charges.
All in all this rack would cost over £1100
I'm now selling it for £750
It would need collected from SW Scotland.
Alternatively I can dismantle the rack, pack it up, ready for a courier to collect.
All instructions, bolts, brackets available [plus I'll be on hand for any info/help required on rebuilding it]
[not my D4]
