[For Sale] FPLA-9G768-AC (CCM) - retrofit ACC on a D4* £240
Adaptive Cruise Module
I already flashed it with the correct FW from Pat@GAP to work in a D4 so you should just be able to connect it to your existing connector and enable in CCF (need a switchpack too). Saving you £25.
*Will work in a 2015 or 2016 D4 - see the retrofit post here:

I have followed this with interest and am indeed curious to the point of thinking about install... but I need some convincing on the insurance front. Has anyone declared this 'modification' to their insurer? If so, who is that?
I'll proceed if I know I can get reasonable insurance for this modification.
Anyone?Jim

Hello,
Not yet working on a 2014 or older but if you buy this you could join the "like to get it working" club
As for insurance, as it was an option on a 2015-2016 car I would see it as no different to fitting different wheels, standard cruise, reversing camera or other popular retro fits that were available as an option just not at point of sale. I wonder how many declare those?
A tricky one I would say, but arguably better than standard cruise as that does not disengage whereas this has Collision Mitigation by Braking on the cars it works on so a plus there. Guess you could ask you insurer or declare it as an engine modification. In today's world, if you contribute something, you don't contribute enough. If you contribute nothing, you receive everything.
