There is a custom earth strap, split relay, fused feed cable that simply bolts to the live stud using an Alan bolt. There is a smaller cable that connects to the battery earth.
It will probably take 1/2 hour to fit
Been in my D3 for a few years running only car pc and other electronic bits.
Great if you want to run a winch, lights, electronics or radio gear. There are plenty of guides on here how to run a cable thru the car to the rear or engine bay.
Cant post as battery is heavy... Collect from GL15 or can meet M50 Ross on Wye services, M5 Cheltenham or M48 Chepstow2005 D3 MJ05 F** (2009-2020) - 255000 - Gone

interested in this pal. can i ask how old the battery is. I presume it is a complete set, does it have the internal battery monitor too?

I think the battery is about 6-7 years old. I can't see a date stamp.
It had been used daily to power my Carputer and Sub so not high load, and charged by the split change system you see here.
