[For Sale] D3 2.7 Manual 158,000 spares or repairs.

Hi, all

I have for sale my 2006 D3. Had a lot of work done to this but driving along about 3 weeks again and she started spluttering. She then just gave up the ghost.

Had my mechanics check the starter motor but that is fine. They have check the crank and it has seized. Tried hand cranking it but to no avail.

She is in good shape apart from this. I have her for sale on the bay but putting up here if anyone wants a project.

I have all receipts from all work she has had done. She had new tyres approx 250-300 miles ago.

She will need to be lifted onto low loader or recovery truck.

Whatever she’s worth whole, she’d be worth two or three times that as a pile of parts. If you’ve got the time and patience then strip her down and flog her off part by part. Very therapeutic.

As a non runner, not a lot...

If you have the time and space, the best return is by stripping for parts

I’ll put her up for £2000....I know it’s high but it’s a start.

Other than that I have lots of parts for sale which I will be listing in the next couple of days if no body wants the whole thing. I will also be getting photos over the next couple days.

I have genuine detachable tow bar inc terrafirma security plate - £180 for both

2 x Pirrelli Scorpion Winter Tyres 255/60/R18 4mm on both (£40 each) £75 the pair

2 x automatic wing mirrors (need a bit of a clean / one missing glass) with all the gubbings - £120 the pair

1 x Drivers side tweeter and automatic mirror module - £25

2 x Genuine Discovery 3/4 front rubber mats - £50

1 Pair of cubby side covers silver (no screws) - £10
