Its a CD Slot Mount phone holderwith 3 positions to mount the phone holder for different angles etc.
Works well and holds the phone very securely and expands from about 53 mm to 83 mm.
Pics below and looking for £20 inc P&P to UK mainland;

Hi Dave T
I have a Brodit clip mount that fits to the right of the dash with an adjustable phone holder screwed to it that allows my phone with its bumper to fit into it - its one that you open and then close on the phone as opposed to being a spring clip holder if that makes sense.
I got it off ebay and can find the link if you want but it added up as needed the Brodit clip mount and the phone holder so was over £50 all in if memory serves me "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

The Brodit ones are indeed very good but they are a, car specific b, phone specific and c, are expensive so the CD slot one works in most cars with a CD player "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

No worries, I have had more Brodit clips in the past than hot dinners as the saying goes and even had 3 in the past for the D4's all of which I have sold with the car or sold on here probably
The mounts are usually very good but I bought one for a Z4 and when fitted you could not select 1st gear with the phone in so told them about it and they offered me a full refund and paid return postage - they said it was for a DSG gearbox as that was the only Z4 they found to try it when in the design phase
Again the phone holders are usually phone specific and not all work if you have a case or bumper fitted which was why I got the CD Slot Mount some time ago. I also liked the fact that you could mount the holder in 3 positions all of which you can angle but the 2 outer ones are angled anyway which offers more adjustment "UNDERSTEER" ---is when you hit the fence with the front of the car.
"OVERSTEER" ------is when you hit the fence with the rear of the car.
"HORSEPOWER" -is how fast you hit the fence.
"TORQUE" ------------is how far you take the fence with you.

Fair enough. I'll take them both please. Slightly worried about where I may find some screws. Made a mistake and sent the screws to the purchaser of my Sony Xperia specific mount that I sold a while back Not such a Disco Newbie now!
