I am not uncharitable....so I won't comment in any detail...save to say that it appears that Ambit is not serious & really doesn't want to sell these wheels & tyres.
We have tried to help but you are not helping yourself, as Moo says. Am I Gammon or Woke ? - I neither know nor care.

I'm probably not the most PC guy here on the forum...
I enjoy it for its many facets, mainly to do with helping me with my D3
But... I don't think that you're doing yourself any favours with this thread!
Typical tyre/wheel sale is all of what the members are trying to ask!!
Just saying!!

This sale post is not presented in the spirit of the site's selling section. The OP should provide further relevant information, upon request, in order to enable other site users to make an informed decision to progress their interest. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021

Is this really happening?? Easy up a little bit... is what I am thinking...
These rims, are rather cheap, even without tyres..
See the tyres as a bonus, even without knowing exactly how they are, or see them as protection, may be you are lucky and you can use 2 of them for a few miles.. Best regards

May also help buyers if you state if they are genuine LR or replica wheels. I suspect replicas as i don't think genuine turbines were made in 20" (22" only). Most buyers will not travel the length of the country as you suggest to buy a set of wheels but may arrange courier if enough genuine information/photos are given and they have gained confidence in the seller
I recently sold a set of wheels through the Full Fat forum and put as much info on as i could. Answered questions as honestly as i could. Didn't want the potential buyer turning up and not being happy with what he had bought and travelled 150miles to collect (i know i wouldn't be happy if the tables were turned)

Hey guys and gals I think you need to chill out. I think the above person who has posted sums this up. I’m really not getting into speed load ratings and tyre depths on here. I placed this advert here in case someone local wants to pop around and take a look and make me an offer. If you are thinking about driving from one end of the country to the other for these - please don’t! I’m not saying the wheels are not good. They are what they are. And you’ll come and take a look and see the tyres and condition and if you like what you see that’s up to you. I don’t Know for sure if they are genuine but I think they might be as they have all the markings on the back but I’m not going to take one off now to check!
So this post will stay live if they are still up for grabs. If you want to come and see them pm me and we can go from there.

I think the 20 inch versions were made for the Evoque and Disco Sport. So probably don’t have the load rating for a D4.
Of course I could be totally wrong with that assumption Discovery 4 HSE

I think evoque and the smaller new model discovery are are different size and offset. So they won’t fit on the discovery 3/4 and Range Rover sports etc.

I asked on 29th December:-
Quote:Can you please confirm that the weight rating is 111 or higher ?
as Dusty says:-
Quote:probably don’t have the load rating for a D4.
certainly one might be justified in assuming this since the OP refuses to post relevant information to the contrary.

Chaps, although it would be in the spirit of the site to provide further information, there is nothing in the rules to say it must be provided. I am going to change the title to reflect the OP's desire for a local delivery \collection. Otherwise, we should let it be. 21 year LR veteran > D2 GS 2003 > D3 S 2006 > D3 HSE 2009 > D4 HSE 2013 > D4 HSE 2015 > D5 HSE 2018 > DS HSE R-Dynamic P300e 2021
