[For Sale] Australian Camping/Expedition Trailer Tent
Hi all,
I know I'm going to get some 'flack' around selling yet another camping set-up
But plans are afoot, as I have the possibility of purchasing a 'Dream' item, so need to pull together some funds to help pay for it, as such I have decided to sell my Australian Camping/Expedition Trailer Tent.
Many on here will know that I tend to change my mind often, and this is currently my 4th or 5th trailer/RT/OZ tent set-up, but I do like to change occasionally
This was purchased from a forum member around 1 year ago and was originally imported into the UK by the original Australian owner around 5 years previous to that.
- It tows so well due to the long drawbar easy sit at 70/80 if you’re willing to do so.
- Massive off road maxxis tyres that are in fantastic condition (Spare never used)
- Heavy duty off road shocks make it a pleasure on and off road
- It has built in drop and wind legs and quick release jockey wheel
- Led lights, electric adjustable brakes which are absolutely fantastic!
- Very large low water tank and hand pump tap
- Battery storage on the side with two 12v plugs (Battery included)
- Three water carriers mounts on the side, gas bottle mounts on the side
- Front bespoke aluminium storage has 1 additional leisure battery (Total of 2 included with sale)
- Also included is an adjustable solar panel. This keeps the batteries topped up all the time even when running lights and having the fridge in freezer mode it’s never an issue.
- Nearly all the boxes, compartments are lockable and will come with keys
The tent on top is a quick setup Oz Trial the best canvas, which has never ever leaked. It has a twin bed memory foam mattress bunk that sits about 1200mm up and accessed by ladder. The sewn in ground sheet is where Harry sleeps on his camp bed (room in total for 6 to sleep if required).
The awning which has sides if required is massive this can be left zipped on for easy erection or taken off if not required. The rear tailgate swings out and has a shelf with basin in and fire extinguisher etc.
Under the bunk is a hatch which will enable you to access the trailer directly. Indeed you can access the storage part of the trailer from above the side or back of the trailer. The trailer storage/bunk floor is lined out with marine cladding and where everything you require is stored for transport leaving the car free for kids and dogs.
So, in total you will get:
- The Trailer
- Tent with awning and mattress and all poles
- 2 x leisure batteries & homemade power box (See pics, box runs a cable directly to batteries)
- ladder (Which is an old step ladder, which I split and painted as none came with the trailer)
- Water tank (With hand pump)
- Sink unit
- Fire extinguisher
- 2 Burner Gas Hob
- Few other bits and bobs which I'll throw in
I'm really only selling as I have a great opportunity to get something different (Still in discussions, so can't share at the moment)
