Purchased new in 1998 and had two years of light use and 19 years of dry storage.
Only 7,500 miles and only seen rain once. Never even dropped. Fresh MoT. Comes with factory seat hump (rare to find now).
One of only 250 made (number 152), with one off, hand painted, custom painted pin stripes by Triumph’s staff. I even got to watch him do it in person. Appeared in internal factory magazine at the time.
Hoses changed for stainless Earls hoses when new. All stainless bolts from new. Carbs untrasonically cleaned and all fuel pipes renewed in recommissioning. Soaked with WD40 for storage and currently in for professional valeting (photos taken before valeting).
Finally decided to part with her.
£4,397.50p
Fully recommissioned, including new fuel pipes, fuel tap rebuild kit fitted, ultrasonically cleaned carbs, new coolant, oil, battery and brake fluid and service. Avon tyres perfect, but old.
Now she’s been cleaned and prepped:

19 years in storage Go stand in the corner !
Not a great time of year to try and sell, but the model history & the attention that the Daytona is getting right now means that you might just find the right buyer.
I would suggest a classified ad on ebay ( £20 ) once you have some pics of the valeted bike to put in the ad. Last 1200 ltd (nr 246 ) with 2 owners and 8k made £4k.when it sold today!

Interesting information, thank you
It’s a bike that’s so very hard to value.
There’s a long story behind why it was in storage for all of those years! 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

Lovely 'bike. I had a 900 version and it was one of the few 'bikes I regret selling
The older Hinkley Triumphs were brilliant 'bikes with a good solid engineered foundation that revived the brand.

Thanks AB.
I had a Sprint 900 from nearly new in 1995 as well and that stayed with me until about 4 years ago. They really were heavily over engineered. I didn't buy another new bike until the Tiger 1200 in 2013 and that's one of the few bikes that they've built since which are equally over engineered 2011 - 2015: 3 x FL2

I agree, bikes don’t tend to devalue a lot with age, more over condition and mileage. I gave it a second glance, but apart from high days and holidays, it would sit most of the time in the garage with me too and I can’t justify spending £6k out on that basis.
