Unfortunately a change in circumstances means I won’t get to use the car properly for the foreseeable future, so I’ve decided to move along.
2012 Discovery 4 SDV6 3.0
The car has already suffered the dreaded snapped crank, this was replaced by LR Pickering at a cost of £10,800.
The car had done 74,000 before the crank and has done 70,000ish on the new engine.
The 8 speed (fantastic) gearbox was flushed by JAS LR and remains smooth.
It has never had a DPF fault as all my miles are on the motorway between Devon and Manchester.
It has a full and comprehensive service history that goes above and beyond the normal service intervals, the new engine has had extra oil changes. Feel free to ring JAS LR who have done a wonderful job maintaining it.
The car has been facelifted to 2014 BiXenon headlamps, bumper, grille and taillights.
ALIVE Tuning remapped the car to 319bhp/740Nm
